Our subscription is slightly different here with Business Legal Management from a retainer. Both do reserve access to legal resources, but unlike a retainer our subscription gets access to legal resources as part of a larger package which includes project management of tasks, free consulting hours, and other business aid to your company.

It can in certain instances. Business Legal Management works with management to establish a winning legal strategy and budget. Business Legal Management then draws on expert legal network to provide legal services such as contracts, incentive plans, litigation, merger and acquisition support and other areas of legal practice. This can all be done under the guidance of a general counsel.

It doesn’t have to, but we can. Business Legal Management supports the efforts of in-house counsel and augments their experience through consulting and outside professional management services. An example would be litigation management. Litigation cannot be predicted and greatly increases the load on a General Counsel. Serious litigation often requires the hiring of additional resources for litigation management. Business Legal Management fills that need.

We can support either. We typically work with businesses because that is where our specialty lies and we do not do things like personal injury, parking tickets, etc. However, if you are an entrepreneur or business owner that needs some help with multiple companies, Business Legal Management can make a plan for you.

Not a problem, you get an amazing discount on any hours over your monthly allotment. And if this happens a few times in a row we can adjust your plan ASAP to make sure you are getting the best bang for your buck and keep your legal costs as low as possible. 

A new feature that we are including in our plans is a rollover bank to make sure that hours are not “wasted” with the ebbs and flows of legal work and legal needs. 

If you meet with your attorney to work on a project, that does get charged. However, you do not get charged for your Principal Consultant, Legal Project Manager, or General Counsel meetings. Those come included with the subscription. 

Business Legal Management negotiates the best rates with professional service providers for our clients. The service provider pays Business Legal Management a portion of the standard fee they charge clients for managing client relationships and communications. This fee could be up to 20% of the fee charged by the professional service provider.
